Task Boards for Confluence works as a macro that you can add directly to any Confluence page.
Creating a board
Follow these steps to create a board:

Go to the Confluence page where you want to add the board and click the pencil icon to edit it

Insert the app's macro on the page by clicking the "+" sign, typing "Task Boards" in the search bar and selecting the app

A dialog will open displaying the Set up a Task Board setup

Enter a name for your board in the Board name field (required)

Optionally, choose a color for your board by clicking the color swatch under Board color

Once you've configured your board, click Insert

The macro will appear on the Confluence page, displaying the board name and color you chose

Make sure to select "Go wide" mode for more space

Click Publish at the top of the page to start using your board
Editing a board's settings
To edit the settings of a board, follow these steps:

Go to the Confluence page where your board lives and click the pencil icon to edit it

Locate the Task Boards macro, click on it, then click the pencil icon to edit it

The Board setup dialog will be displayed

Make any necessary changes, then click Save

Publish the page to apply your changes
