Macro not loading when the page is published / App not working on restricted pages

Issue

After inserting the Agile Retrospectives macro into a Confluence page and publishing it, the macro does not load and the retrospective session cannot be started.

Cause

The Agile Retrospectives app requires View permissions to function properly.

If the Confluence page is restricted and the app has not been granted access to the space, the macro cannot load correctly.

Solution

Grant the app View permissions in the space where the issue occurs by following these steps:

1. Go to Space Settings.

2. Navigate to Space Access -> Users.

3. Locate the app listed as AgileC.

4. Ensure it has View permissions in the space.

5. Save the changes.

After updating the permissions, return to the Confluence page where the Agile Retrospectives macro was inserted.

The macro should now load correctly, allowing participants to view and join the retrospective session.
