Installing the Trello Power-Up

Before you begin, the Trello app must be installed in Freshservice. Without it, the Freshservice Power-Up won't work. See Installing the app.

You'll need:

  • The URL of your Freshservice instance, for example yourcompany.freshservice.com

  • The API key of the Freshservice agent created by your Freshservice admin (the "Trello agent"). Ask your Freshservice admin for this key

Enabling the Power-Up

  1. Open the Trello board you want to connect

  2. Open the board menu and go to Power-Ups

  3. Search for Freshservice and click Enable

The Power-Up is enabled per board. Repeat these steps for each board you want to connect to your Freshservice instance.

Connecting the Power-Up to Freshservice

  1. Click the gear icon of the Freshservice Power-Up. The Connect Freshservice window opens

  2. In Freshservice Domain, enter the URL of your Freshservice instance

  3. In Power-Up Agent API Key, enter the API key of the Freshservice agent

  4. Click Connect

Connect the Power-Up with the API key of an Admin user. This way, all board members can see the information of the Freshservice tickets linked to any card on the board.
